The RPZ valve is a Verifiable Backflow Preventer with reduced pressure zone ( sometimes referred to as a Type BA DEVICE or RPZ valve ).
The RPZ valve can be installed where protection against backflow at the point of use, from a fluid category 4 risk, is required.

In the UK all RPZ valves must be Tested and Certified by a qualified ACCREDITED RPZ valve TESTER, at intervals of not more than 12 months.
